Feras

Feras is my Syrian friend. We met at a shisha place and he showed me around Damascus. He fought with me whenever the cheque came because he insists that he has to pay. It always was a scene; an Egyptian and a Syrian pulling the cheque and each other.

He is a blend of old tradition and modernity. Sometimes he is caught in a conflict between his legacy and his daily life.
